Visiting the site

You can look at the course outline and the tools page without signing in. We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.

With an account

When you sign in we store your email address, and the name, operating system and learning path you choose to give us.

We also store which lessons you mark as done, your setup checklist ticks, the questions you ask us and our answers, and any capstone links you add.

We use this to run the course for you: to show your progress, remember your choices, and email you about the course.

If you tick the marketing box, we also record that you agreed and when, so we can show your consent. Untick it or unsubscribe and we stop.

Who processes it

The site runs on Cloudflare. Course content and learner records are stored in Airtable. Sign-in and data access go through VibeKit, a service run by Aextra, which keeps the database keys away from your browser.

If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and confirms it is yours. We don’t get access to anything else in your Google account.

Emails

Course emails (new lessons, lesson updates and account notices) are part of the service. Our legal basis for them is the contract you enter by creating an account.

News and recommendations are sent only if you opted in. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from everything doesn’t close your account.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything linked to it. Contact us through aextra.ai.

We keep account data while your account exists, and delete it when you ask us to.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
